THE ARCHITECTURE OF TREES
The Architecture of Trees was first published in 1982 and became legendary as an unsurpassed aid to designing green spaces. The result of a study lasting twenty years, the book describes more than two hundred tree species, each drawn to a scale of 1:100, with and without foliage, complete with tables of seasonal color variations and projections of shadows cast during the hours of daytime and season by season.
